EXcepTiONal Building Products and Services
is the marketing arm of Extons Tiling Contracting.
EXcepTiONal Building Products and Services
was established by Greg Exton in 2001 to celebrate 30
years of successful trading through Extons Tiling Contracting,
and to build upon the extensive knowledge base developed
over that time.
Greg Exton, owner and manager of Extons Tiling Contracting
and EXcepTiONal Building Products and Services, has
been involved in the tiling industry since 1966. He
received trade certificate training in Wall and Floor
Tiling (with Honours) from the Yeronga Institute of
TAFE in 1970. Greg is a member of the Queensland
Master Builders Association and is widely regarded
by his peers as an expert in his field.
Since 1971, Greg’s contracting work has seen him
complete high-profile projects such as:
- The Clem Jones Fountain in King George Square, Brisbane
- The Australian Institute of Marine Science and associated
buildings, Townsville
- The Mater Hospital, Townsville
- The Townsville Youth Detention Centre
Because of Greg’s extensive experience and dedication
to minimising the environmental impact of projects, he
is regularly commissioned by the Brisbane City Council
to rectify the beautiful tiling work in the heritage-listed
Brisbane City Hall.
Greg Exton is licensed by the Building
Services Authority of Queensland to perform a full
range of wall and floor tiling and waterproofing application
work.
With full-time tilers employed by Extons Tiling Contracting,
Greg Exton is able to accommodate tasks ranging from small,
domestic jobs to large, commercial projects all throughout
