Work History
I have been working as a psychologist for over 10 years. I began my career working with children with learning, emotional, behavioural, and cognitive problems, providing psychological assessments and counselling services.
I later worked in an adult supported living environment, supporting people with serious mental illnesses and assisting them to transition to a meaningful life in the community.
I have also worked many years with adolescents involved in the legal and court system, providing various assessments and interventions to reduce reoffending.
I have worked with trans and gender-diverse clients, providing assessment, support letters, and individual and group interventions.
I have made several successful applications for clients wanting to access the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), and supported clients who have previously met access.
My passions
I am passionate about many things!
I consider myself an intersectional feminist and socialist. I have a passion for working with people from marginalised groups, of which there are many.
I am a staunch advocate for the rights of trans and gender diverse people, and the rights of people with disabilities.
Lastly, I am oh-so-passionate about my dog, Archie. He’s a 9-year-old Beagle and I spend as much time as I can with him. We frquent dog parks, beaches, local parks, or just chilling at home. He’s a cheeky and stubborn boy, and I wouldn’t change a thing about him!
